It would seem that the Kia guy has a strong affinity with South African music... he asked a friend of a friend 2 years ago to to source an original track from an SA artists and between a few of us we put him in touch with Andy Schar whose stuff is out of the top drawer.

Andy ended up writing the track for this Kia advert for the Sorento: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-PyV-W1Lxc which was screened throughout the USA.

Go Go Go SA musicians. Nice work, Gold Fish. Nice work Andy Schar.

That's MORE than awesome, Seth.

Figures released in the New York Times yesterday show that US auto sales slumped a head-spinning 41% year-on-year in February.

BUT, thanks no doubt to our boys GOLDFISH, THE ONLY BRAND SHOWING ANY POSITIVE GROWTH in the US market in 2009 is ... KIA!
That's right, Goldfish has single handedly bucked the slump and sent KIA sales into orbit relative to the rest.

How's that for very awesome indeed ;-)

Nice tune, pity about the ride, would rather have the hamster wheel than a Kia Soul. No actually I would rather walk.
