Clean as a squirrel
8.07.2009I’ve got a pantload of unrelated images all over my desktop that were meant for their own individual articles. Images that have made the grade and progressed from the pile of rubbish I receive, onto my desktop.They’ve been their too long and the moment is gone. So I’m putting them all into one article. Right here, right now.
We’ll kick off with this incredible pic of Mickey Rourke with a Cockatoo on his shoulder. As he does.
That’s how Mickey rolls.
Then there is this little stunner my dad took of the builder’s car, outside our place in Provence. What they do is they mix the cement in the boot of their car.

Then this numberplate, spotted in Jo’burg:

Black Labour beer served at a Cape Town Chinese Restaurant. Referring, of course (albeit spelt wrong), to the range of T-shirts designed by Laugh It Off, Justin Nurse’s company which won a David v Goliath style court case against South African Breweries a few years back (here).

“THEHOFF GP” belongs to a guy called Mark Hoffman who is a partner at a big firm in Jo’burg. He’s generally regarded as one of the best minds in his industry – rumours of him walking on water abound – so he may not be the actual Hoff but he’s a fairly worthy fake.
His wife bought him the numberplate. No spice.
