IT GOT WORSE – THE FLOOD IN CAMPS BAY

Save yourselves!

12.07.2009

Perhaps you saw our pics and adventures in Camps Bay as the rains came down earlier on Sunday. Well, it got even more hectique than that.

Check this out:

Incredibly radical
That’s coming down the steps
from 1st Crescent to Camps Bay Drive

That probably got in through the doors

It’s times like this that we should stop and think how lucky we are.

“We are so lucky!”

“We really are, you know!”

Etc. etc.

[thanks jane

Great. And I am coming to Cape Town this morning, leaving the Joburg sunshine and happiness which I’ve been so lucky to have been enjoying all winter long…

  5. Bronson Says:

I would never have thought that it was possible for Camps Bay to be flooded like that.

Live and learn… and then call your insurance broker.

  6. Randolf Says:

Wow – great to see that you guys really know priorities. Camps bay might look like flooded, but how do the townships look like? And all you care about is having fun with a jet ski?

  7. datashaman Says:

    Randolf:

Dude. Lighten up. This is not a social welfare website.

Have you personally volunteered to rebuild houses in the townships?

If so, congratulations, you’re a hero and I applaud you and your efforts.

    If not, then STFU.
