With this whole 40 year anniversary of the moon landing vibe going on, everyone seems obsessed with the front pages of the various newspapers that were printed back in 1969. Like this little beauty from The New York Times.
Wow!

Which is great and all that – but how many of you have been playing that scene from Dumb & Dumber through your mind? You know, the one where Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) stumbles upon an old framed newspaper hanging on the wall.
It’s been playing through my head every time a website or news station has mentioned the moon landing in the past couple of weeks. I went to this website I made which I call “YouTube” to check if maybe the scene from the movie was there. Well, whaddaya know – it was!
Check it out, it’s quite stunning!

God I love that.
You know the redhead chick in the movie that Lloyd was in love with? The character’s name was Mary Swanson and was played by Lauren Holly. Anyway, I trust everyone realises that if they did have to get married, her name would become Mary Christmas.
Which would be awesome.
