“FUNNY YELLOW TRUMPET” – BY VUVU AND THE ZELAS
These guys who call themselves Vuva and the Zelas have made a song called “Funny Yellow Trumpet” which documents a group of white guys taking a taxi to a local football game, ultimately falling in love with soccer and the vuvuzela.

Big fan of the site, but the fact that you’re having to post this again should tell you something about the song. I’ll bet money it’s not going to land up in a Nando’s ad, the last track you plugged on here (some summer anthem – can’t remember the name) was better.

Whilst the angle you’re going may have had some merit, the song was actually played on the radio this afternoon and I wanted to make it accessible for people (that hadn’t heard it before) out there to find it – as the previous mention had run off the bottom of the screen.

Should be:
“FUNNY YELLOW TRUMPET WITH THE MOST IRRITATING MONOTONE NOISE EVER INVENTED”
I hear via the “net-vine” that these started off life being nicked off the tops of the diesel locos.
The world are in for a nasty shock when they arrive for the world cup (providing the locals can afford the price of the tickets that is)
Word of advise for them…. bring earplugs and lots of migraine caps…
