I'm a girl and I have some friends who work at Mavericks and believe me they’re far from exploited. I know there’s a dark side to this industry and I hope it’s being cracked down on, but don’t tar all the clubs and all the women in them with the same brush. According to them, they’re free to go whenever they please and a lot of them do after earning a fair bit of money. There’s no debt (they paid for their flight), they’re not allowed to give sexual favours, they're independent, confident, and they’re all earning a hell of a lot more than I am. As for employing foreigners, if good looking girls from countries with less opportunity want to make a new life and a bit of money for themselves, then I don’t see what the problem is. Arguably they’re the ones doing the exploiting, and if a girl wants to make the most of what she’s got then why on earth not. Hey, just seen this. Have you ever bothered to look at one of the ridiculous contracts that are imposed on them and in terms of which they pay for the privilege of 'working' at Mavericks. Are you aware of how these women are recruited or why so many foreign women are used. Do you just ignore all the reports and allegations of trafficking of women into these clubs and the activities of Eastern European organised crime groups. No of course you dont.
