New Zealand Herald Tees Up The All Blacks For Epic Fail

Jinxed, much?
Please, enjoy this photograph of the front page of the New Zealand Herald, dated Wednesday 29 September 2010.
That’s unusually arrogant for an agriculturally-based society, isn’t it?
Let’s just take a moment to burn this image into our minds.
When the All Blacks go bang at the world cup, we’ll know who the jinx culprits were.
Truly, this happens every time the press of a desperate sporting nation shouts the praises/trash talks opponents ahead of major tournaments.
Does Tim Henman ring a bell? The English football team, perchance?
On behalf of all South Africans, thank you, New Zealand Herald.
Now please, stick to Lord of the Rings extras and Flight of the Conchords.

World cup inferiority complex, if SA had the same mental health issues the Cape Times would have run a headline after the last world cup, “All Blacks rehire choker coach” but we were too busy, winning…

I hear you and agree with your sentiments. Unfortunately however, they have a point.

Hahahahahahaha! Yup – despite the cheating All Blacks – and getting away with it with the complicit officating of the Irish refs and Nigel Owens – all under the auspices of their boss – Paddy O’Brien, despite their penalty:yellow card ratio of 43:1 (Boks 6:1 and Aussies 7:1) – the incompetent, useless, Bok management and coaching staff have succeeded in turning the team into a failure… Their team selections, combinations – and planning were pathetic. typical – one cannot expect anything better from people with a ‘Rugby IQ’ of +/- 50 at best… LOL!
So – I say Thank-You to the NZ Herald for stating as such. We need as much foreign media humiliation of the coaches and management staff as possible!! Maybe then (wishing thinking?) – things will change… Alas – they won’t – we are stuck with the most useless coaching triumvirate in the history of Springbok rugby. All to appease the ruling, black, ANC and the political – quota – requirements – which are what forced Jake White out (2007 RWC winning coach remember) – and heralded in the era of incompetence and stupidity – of De Villiers and co.

Quite a ‘dis’ for Div as well. Just goes to show international opinion of our humble coach.

A fat ‘dis’ for Div as well. Just goes to illustrate international sentiment where our humble coach is concerned.

If more international mockery will turn the Boks into a winning team, they won’t go short. In fact, there is so much of it that they ought to beat NZ in NZ by 100 points. But I’m afraid that international contempt just won’t do the business. Good coaching and good selections could possibly do the job, but there is a all-time drought in those things.
