their official press release. I saw on news24 it was released on
your site so I thought why only on 2oceansvibe? But can I say
respect to you man for telling it like it is . News outlets should
look and listen. To the chick crying foul about the pic’s. If they
were posted on facebook it would make it public property, if
someone in the crowd took the pics, then again they are public
property. These people want to be celebs. I sugget Mariska you go
and have a look online how many “celeb” pics are out there of real
celebs taken by normal people like you and me. I have never heard
that it is illegal to take and post pics taken in public of celebs.
So it would be better for you not to say anything. If they just
shut up in the beginning and took their medicine it would almost be

Your comments about privacy and Facebook refer.
You see, Mariska, if these pictures were private, then no-one would have been able to access them. In fact, Facebook (as I’m sure you’re aware) allows one to set access permissions on what others can see when it comes to one’s profile. Ergo, someone who was permitted to access these images, decided to copy and distribute them. Your issue is with them and not with 2oceansvibe (which is a news site and as such is only disseminating what has been made available to them). Anyway, what this means is that these pictures were therefore not private and as such now found themselves in the public domain.
Sadly, your attempts to have them pulled down will just draw more attention to them, kind of like your very own miniature version of the Streisand effect (Google it). Indeed, I have RT’d this link a few times since I’ve started writing this comment, with the intent of deliberately causing you to get upset.
The lesson here is simple. If one doesn’t wish to come off looking common in public, one could try not behaving common in public…on camera yet. Or one could try not being born in Benoni. Either option is viable.
Oh and it’s “These are private pictures” and not “This is private pictures”. The (auxiliary) verb and the noun must agree in number and tense for it to be grammatically correct. It’s OK. You were 50% right.
