Michael Bay, womaniser, loon and director of brilliant movies, such as Pearl Harbor and the Transformers trilogy, has been caught cheating… again, this around time by recycling footage from The Island and using it for Transformers 3.
This is probably the way Michael Bay likes to explain things to his creative team, while designing any movie:
“…And then the Transformer will hit the aircraft carrier and explode on impact, tipping the great ship, causing all the planes to fly off in to the sea and explode on their way down. And then we’ll have the aircraft carrier itself explode into a 700-foot fireball. And we’ll do it all with CGI. No sets and no props!”
But it might also sound likes this: “Na, just use the same stuff we used in The Island.”
That’s right, Bay likes to recycle footage from his other movies. At least The Island clip wasn’t as obvious as the one he lifted from Pearl Harbor.
