Apple will be opening it’s new retail store tomorrow at the iconic Grand Central Station in New York City. Here are some pics. It’s rather nice.

The store will employ 350 staff members, and is rumoured to be Apple’s largest retail store yet. It is located less than a mile away from their flagship Fifth Avenue Store, with the idea that it can serve to ease the foot traffic on what is an iconic, but rather small space.

Apple has done very little modification to the 140 year old station, keeping the architecture largely intact. The result is a thing of beauty. Why don’t they make them like this in SA?
