The Ferrari/BMW Quad Bike – Quite Mean
This is the Wazuma Lazareth – the world’s most expensive quad bike. It combines the engine from a Ferrari with BMW handlebars and the gearbox from a BMW M3. For a mere £170 000, you can have one too!
I must admit, it’s rather sexy. The quad is a little different from the ones you may have gone sheep chasing with on your uncle’s farm. The two back wheels are very close together, and all four wheels are fitted with 18 inch racing slicks. The engine produces 250 BHP, and is bolted to a 650kg frame. This means it has a power-to-weight ratio similar to a Lamborghini Murciélago. No spice.
Pity it’s not road legal though – this baby is only for the track. A spokesperson for the company said: ‘The Wazuma offers matchless driving sensations with a unique design. It is designed to be simple, aggressive and high-performance. It is first of all a masterpiece of engineering, a sculpture.’

A typo on my part - the gearbox from an M3, controlled from a set of BMW handlebars.
