Company Apologises For Naked Man In Children’s Clothing Ad [GRAPHIC IMAGE]
French clothing company, La Redoute has been left red-faced regarding an ad on their website. In the foreground of the advertisement in question, four young children play happily on a beach. In the background, a naked guy is going for a relaxing, pants-free stroll.
Yes, it seems EVERYONE who worked on this image failed to notice the obvious elephant (perhaps that’s generous) in the room:
Only after visitors to the website picked it up did La Redoute pull the ad from its site and apologized on its Facebook page:
La Redoute apologizes for the photo published on its site and is taking steps to remove it. We have opted to delete all posts, including this picture. We are aware that it may offend the sensitivities of web surfers. We will strengthen the validation process of all brand communications so this can not happen again in the future.

Can’t believe somebody left this unchecked. And if they did check it and think, “That’s alright, no one will notice.” Clearly they did not anticipate the amount of time people spend scrutinising every single thing about the world (which is a negative thing, I think, but it ‘came up Milhouse’ in this instance).
Even before the editing stage, what partially blind photographer would allow this free-hanging stroller in the picture? It worries me to think that perhaps this was intended as part of the photoshoot.

An even more disturbing question is that what where children doing on a beach where there are possible nudists?

D, a good word for you is pedophile. Where does your illogical, stupid argument even come from. The article is about a ad, which is inappropriate seeing that it’s centered at YOUNG children, it has nothing to do with culture, etc. You are using the practices of largely uncivilized tribes in New Guinea to bolster your argument? That’s just plain stupid.
