“The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” Starts Tomorrow
I was lucky enough to watch this new David Fincher film starring Daniel Craig before it came out and I have been carrying on about it to anyone who will listen ever since. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is a fantastic film and brilliantly satisfying remake of the Swedish film with the same name, taken from the hit “Millenium Series,” written by Stieg Larsson.
Rooney Mara is the lead actress, and she completely steals the show. The nice thing about her character vs. the girl in the original Swedish film, is that she can actually look sexy. And she does. In a big way. Whereas Noomi Rapace, the original actress who played Lisbeth – whilst a brilliant actress – wasn’t that easy on the eye. In a nice way.
In a nutshell – you will fall in love with Rooney Mara by the end of it. I genuinely wouldn’t rule out an Oscar.
