Residents of several of Manchester University’s accommodations recently received what can only be described as an incredibly awkward letter from management. It comprises talk of blocked drains, “taking care of your business”, and disposing of discharges appropriately.
Following a series of blockages in the local shower system, the Accommodation Management team set about an investigation. Initially the blockages were thought to be caused by human hair, pretty run of the mill stuff. However, digging a bit deeper revealed that the blockages were caused by “large quantities, of what we have now determined is, semen.” Cringing yet? It doesn’t stop there.
The letter goes on to explain that semen is not soluble with water and has caused over £2 000 worth of damages. Management is however an understanding bunch and acknowledge that there is “business” which must be “taken care of”, only they humbly request that the resultant discharge is dealt with appropriately. Check out the full letter below.
Shame, seems life’s tough, and lonely, up north.
