Made in China, but not originally.
Fashion students at Chengdu University of Technology in China recently pumped all their creativity and innovation into a theatrical lingerie show where models wore over-the-top undergarment confections and massive wings made out of a variety of unexpected fabrics like peacock feathers and magazine pages.
Except, you can scratch creativity and innovation off the list and call the Fashion Police, because practically every design strutted down that catwalk was a blatant knock off of something shown off by Victoria’s Secret at one or other of their fashion shows around the world.
The backlash against the copy-cats in China has been huge, but not all critical, with some people praising the students for their “innovation,” while others slammed the show for displaying too much nubile flesh. As yet no word from Victoria’s Secret regarding the blatant rip off of (or is it an homage to?) their world famous lady undies.
