Tugboats tried again yesterday to pull free Eihatsu Maru, the Japanese trawler stranded on Clifton beach in Cape Town. The rope snapped – just as it did yesterday – and it occurred to all at 2oceansvibe Media, that the crew (and dog) on board might be feeling somewhat peckish. So we did what any self-respecting Capetonian would do when feeding foreign guests – we ordered them Cape Town’s #1 pizza, Butlers pizza.
As you know, Butlers Pizza only deliver. So that’s exactly what we did – direct to the ship.
And the boys did good! Click play on the video above to check out the madness.
It’s no wonder these waters are known as the ‘Tavern of the Seas.’
