Cleaning operations are currently underway at the SABC in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. This follows a fire at the Henley Studios building at around 20h00 last night. This is the studio where Isidingo is shot. Or rather, was shot.

My money is on Cherel, even though authorities say no foul play is suspected at this stage.

If you are an Isidingo fan, the good news is that the soap, which is pre-recorded about three months in advance, has several episodes in the can. So the series will not immediately disappear from television.
