CCTV Footage Emerges Of Bulgaria Bus Suicide Bomber

The Bulgarian government has released CCTV images of a man suspected of targeting Israeli tourists in a bus bomb attack. At least seven people were killed and 30 injured on Wednesday in the explosion outside the airport in the Black Sea resort of Burgas. Bulgarian officials suspect the attack was carried out by this suicide bomber with fake US documents.
According to Bulgaria’s interior minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, the suspect had a fake driving licence from the United States for the state of Michigan (pictured below). Bulgarian media named him as Mehdi Ghezali and said he was an Algerian-Swedish Islamist who spent two years in Guantanamo Bay.
As expected, this attack will in turn provoke similar reactions. Reuters already reported that Benjamin Netanyahu has blamed Iran for the attack, and the Israeli Prime Minister has promised a reaction.
