This must be any photographer’s dream – Usain Bolt, the undisputed fastest man alive, grabbed an Olympic photographer’s camera and started snapping pics straight from the track.
When Usain Bolt grabs your camera, there’s really not much you can do, he’s literally the fastest man on the planet. So, rather than fight it, why not embrace it like Swedish photographer Jimmy Wixtröm did when Bolt grabbed his gear after winning the 200m gold medal.
As it turns out though, this wasn’t the first time Bolt had done this.
“When Usain Bolt took the world championship gold medals in the 200 meters in Daegu, he [took] Sportbladets camera and shot golden moment.
“After the Olympic final of 200 meters världsstjänan did it again. Bolt ran to Sportbladets photographer Jimmy Wixtröm, took the camera and shot away.” [Translated straight from Swedish courtesy of Google Translate]
That makes this the third time that Bolt has commandeered Wixtröm’s equipment. It’s not all happy coincidence though, Wixtröm has been tagging bolt for the last couple of days and has even been called a ” stalker” albeit light-heartedly.
“Haha, that’s right actually. He said it [called me a stalker] yesterday, but it was with a wink and a smile. He is never angry and I am quite calm and collected. If they want me to take pictures so I do not think so.”
Cool guy Usain Bolt, what a boychay.
