“Wanna get high?”
The music video for Die Antwoord’s Fatty Boom Boom has been one of the most talked-about videos on the Internet over the past week. Not only has it been viewed nearly three million times on YouTube, but it also created further buzz following a brief Twitter altercation with Lady Gaga. In case you have not seen the video yet, click here, but in a nutshell it features scenes of Gaga giving birth to a prawn, getting hijacked, and being devoured by a lion.
The comments section on YouTube alone has already passed the 18 000 mark, and like the video, contain some very weird opinions. In a nice bid to reach out to their fans, Ninja and Yolandi have just released this online response to some of the questions/statements posted.
Brace yourself. This is very likely going to be the weirdest, freakiest video you will see all day.
