Never-Before-Seen CCTV footage, showing the moment Anders Behring Breivik’s bomb exploded in Oslo outside the prime minister’s office, has been made public. It also shows the Norwegian mass murderer parking the van and walking away calmly moments earlier.
Eight people died and several dozen others were injured in the explosion on 22 July last year. After planting the bomb, Breivik then drove to Utoya Island where he shot a further 69 people, mostly kids, at a Labour Party youth camp. He is currently serving 21 years in Oslo’s Ila jail. This can be extended if he is still deemed a threat at the end of his term.
But so far he seems to be doing more than ok. The Mirror is reporting that he has been given several concessions. They include a new pen (because the rubber one he had been given “hurts his fingers”), a CD player, a bookshelf and a box to keep his jerseys in.
Breivik won these home comforts after writing a 27-page letter of complaint to authorities about life inside his maximum security cell.
