A Constantia man whose house burnt down is publicly protesting, saying that his house was insured for R6,9 million, but Outsurance are only paying out R2,5 million. Outsurance are allegedly suing him now, for damages. Oh the irony…
According to people familiar with the claim, the house burnt down last year in May. It was insured with Outsurance for R6,9 million. Outsurance are saying that they can rebuild the house for R2,5 million – the same house with thatch, and the same finishes.
