Here’s something light for those of you who’ve had a terrible Wednesday.
It has been known for years that the mountainside above Tamboerskloof is inhabited by semi-wild donkeys that make occasional appearances in Bo-Kaap parking lots and Tamboerskloof streets.
Two of the elusive beasts trundled gracefully from the mist this morning on to the Signal Hill road, and were snapped by 2oceansviber, Keith Quixley from the Aerial Perspective.
Should donkeys enjoy the same rights that cyclists do on Cape Town’s roads?
Adorable, aren’t they? Of course they’re adorable. Keep your eyes peeled for these little guys next time you’re up there.
[Thanks, Keith!]
