Reddit is many people’s platform of choice for funny pictures, interesting facts, and apparently buying assault rifles.
An investigation has revealed that at least 159 sales have been made on the little known GunsForSale subreddit since June last year. Nearly 100 of these guns are AR-15 assault rifles, but since many of the gun orders could’ve taken place over private messages, the exact number of guns sold could be much higher.
More disturbingly, there’s reason to believe that many of these guns are being sold illegally without background checks.
One firearm salesman, Firearm Concierge, posted 268 listings on GunsForSale in the second half of the year. Just take a look at what this stellar person tweeted:
