Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych has fled Kiev, leaving his luxurious compound unoccupied. Opposition protesters found this to be the perfect opportunity to take a look at the ousted president’s residence.
It looks more like a palatial dwelling than a president’s home. The extravagant compound has its very own private zoo, massive boat and golf course. Ordinary Ukrainians wandered through the president’s property with their families, taking pictures in the gardens.
It was reported that no looting occurred and no one was allowed to enter the president’s mansion. Some protesters even played a round of golf with Yanukovych’s personal clubs.
