The odds of winning the lottery is staggering on its own, but calling it the day before is statistically close to impossible. Neil Trotter became Britain’s fourth biggest national lottery winner when his winning ticket won him close to R2 billion in the EuroMillions lottery.
The day before his windfall, 41-year-old Trotter was said to be feeling lucky. “I walked into my dad’s office on Thursday and told him ‘this time tomorrow I’ll be a multi-millionaire.'” Trotter bought the winning ticket on a whim while driving home from work.
