The oldest woman in the world has celebrated another birthday, which must’ve been a nightmare to try and get the candles for.
Leandra Becerra Lumbreras is now 127 years old, and is still the oldest person documented to have ever lived.
Leandra, who was born on 31 August 1887, says her secret to surviving the test of time is “sleeping for days on end,” avoiding marriage, and fighting. Leandra, you’re one tough cookie.
Lumbreras also reportedly fought in the Mexican Revolution as leader of the all-female group the Adelitas.
