We know Obama isn’t afraid of taking a few subtle digs at the press, especially those at Fox News, but the president stepped it up a notch during his White House Correspondents’ Dinner address.
Obama enlisted the help of comedian Keegan-Michael Key, one half of the brilliant sketch show Key and Peele, and let rip with a few well-placed jibes. Not only did he mock his adversaries, however, but even had some fun making light of Hillary Clinton. This from Sky:
The White House hopeful recently made a road trip to a key early-voting state in her bid to win the party’s nomination.
Noting some Americans are living in a time of uncertainty, Mr Obama joked: “For example, I have one friend just a few weeks ago, she was making millions of dollars a year and she’s now living out of a van in Iowa.”
His most stinging barbs still came at the expense of the right-wing propaganda-machine news outlet Fox, who shifted awkwardly in their seats but took it all in good spirits.
The Obama anger-translator sketch is a regular on the Key and Peele show, which stars Jordan Peele as the frustrated president. No mention of the show would be complete without a link to two of my favourite old ladies, Georgina and Esther, and their ongoing feud with Satan (HERE, seriously NSFW heads-up).
Tell it like it is Barack, they can’t vote you out now my friend.
