It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Michael Schumacher’s son, 16-year-old Mick, has taken in his father’s footsteps and is tearing it up around the track. Of late, however, all is not going according to plan.
Mick is racing in the Formula 4 division and, in his first season, has already notched up a win. This weekend’s race taking place at Austria’s Red Bull Ring ended less successfully with this from Fox Sports:
Though Schumacher was able to walk away from his Saturday crash OK, reports indicate that he broke his right hand in the Sunday morning race after being turned into the inside wall by Thomas Preining.
You can check out that crash up top.
