There’s a certain satisfaction that comes with seeing those who work hard being rewarded for their efforts, especially when that special someone has been a part of the 2oceansvibe family for many a year.
We’re pleased as punch then to see Jeneen Galbraith, one of Galbraith Rushby‘s founding partners, rewarded by the prestigious Business Women Achiever Awards South Africa (BWASA). Since 2001 BWASA has held the annual Regional Business Achiever Awards (RBAA) in recognition of women throughout the country who are contributing to business – whether as entrepreneurs, professionals or in corporate business or government.
Jeneen was nominated in the Cape Town category, then shortlisted as one of the 3 finalists in the professional category. Each finalist had to meet certain criteria, were interviewed by several judges in different industries and had a corporate video done on them and their families. Below you can see Jeneen’s interview in the lead-up to the award.
BWASA then held a gala dinner at Kelvin Grove, hosted by Liezel van der Westhuizen and Robyn Hey, with Jeneen winning the award and being named Cape Town’s ‘Businesswomen of the Year’ in the professional category. She is pictured below, second from the right.
If we’re honest we’re not at all surprised, Galbraith Rushby has now grown from humble beginnings to a thriving business with around 40 employees, something Jeneen oversees whilst raising four children at the same time.
From all of us at 2oceansvibe it’s a hearty congratulations on this amazing achievement, here’s to more success in the future.
