Oh Twitter, you beauty.
On Sunday, the Twitter world was taken by surprise when a new hashtag started trending unexpectedly – as all the best ones do.
The hashtag was #PlaneBreakup and all it was one chick, @kellykeegs, live-tweeting a breakup that was happening on the same flight as her right before take off.
Carrying on for about 90 minutes, Kelly Keeg entertained her followers with the drama that was unfolding next to her. And it’s quite a good read:
Just under an hour later, after the flight had landed, Kelly Keegs updates the some 4 000 followers she had gained since the hashtag started trending:
This just proves that nothing is sacred, but even less so when your actions are in a very public eye and on a plane surrounded by very bored passengers.
