If you’re wondering why the Led Zeppelin trial is receiving so much coverage, you obviously don’t understand just how big the band was during the 70s and 80s.
They really were the biggest rock ‘n roll band in the world, and it didn’t hurt that they penned the iconic ‘Stairway to Heaven’. Except that’s kinda what is currently on the line, as the band Spirit accuses them of having lifted the riff from their song ‘Taurus’ (HERE).
