I’m not talking about it, but then again I’m not everyone.
Actress Kristen Bell swung past the The Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday, and the two decided to take to the air for a rendition of the 1982 Joe Cocker / Jennifer Warnes hit “Up Where We Belong”.
Apparently things went ‘hilariously wrong’, if you ask Variety, although it seems to me this all went to plan:
As the song ended, Corden tried to find out who was to blame for the gaffe, but joked that it could be easily mended.
“We can fix it in post can’t we?” he said as the song began playing once again.
They didn’t.
I’ll simply respond with ‘Meh’.
If we’re talking Joe I’d have gone “With a Little Help From My Friends” – here’s Cocker off his rocker at Woodstock back in ’69:
Now that’s a performance worth talking about.
