Malcolm Marx may have been the standout performer in last weekend’s narrow loss to the All Blacks, but there’s no denying that skipper Eben Etzebeth also put in a mammoth shift.
That won’t put to bed the debate that perhaps Siya Kolisi should lead the team, freeing up Eben to play the role of enforcer without the added responsibility of captain, but let’s just enjoy the fact that we have someone able to sit the Kiwis on their arses.
He did plenty of that at Newlands, as this video on Rugby365 illustrates.
