If you’ve recently hooked yourself up with a drone, and have gone on to post images taken with your new toy on Instagram, you might have noticed a slight rise in your followers.
Especially if you are down with all twenty drone-related hashtags.
Because, for many reasons, drone photography is still going strong.
So, as costs come down and the likes of the DJI Mavic Spark hit the market, the revolution continues to grow for photographers and videographers alike.
Another platform on which to share your best drone captures is Dronestagram. Each year, the drone photo-sharing site releases their favourite images, and this year is no different.
Selected by the site’s moderators, the full showcase features a diverse range of snaps. Here’s a selection of my favourites:
Alexandria Bay, New York
Namibia
Bac Lieu Province, Vietnam
Sveti Stefan, Montenegro
Nunavut, Canada
Chiang Mai, Thailand
Gullfoss waterfall, Iceland
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Told you they were spectacular. You can see all 20 here.
