It’s tough to sum up the Trump presidency, but maybe it’s best nutshelled by Dennis Rodman, wearing a MAGA cap, hawking a marijuana cryptocurrency, and crying about Donnie and Kim Jong Un shaking hands.
You can see them shaking hands, as well as five other videos that show their meeting, here.
Also, Kim Jong Un’s first ever selfie – I would advise that the other party doesn’t use a filter, to be honest.
So Dennis is in Singapore right now, and he took the time to chat with CNN. It’s worth watching the interview in its entirety, but if you can’t be bothered pop over to the 4:20 mark (yeah, boi) to see the emotions boiling up.
5:15 to cut right to the chase:
I’ll hazard a guess that you never watched until the end, so here’s the Daily Beast with a little more intel:
Immediately following the interview, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo told former director of national intelligence James Clapper that Rodman was, shockingly, one of the best sources of first-person information into Kim’s thinking.
“I agree, Chris,” Clapper said. “There’s a lot more depth there than meets the eye.”
Hang in there, Dennis. Maybe next time you’ll crack an invite to the lunch…
