Following 80 days at sea, Petty Officer Marissa Gaeta shared a welcome-home kiss with her partner, Petty Officer Citlalic Snell at Virginia, in front of a cheering crowd, which included Brian J. Clarke who took the above, awesome, photograph.

Granted, there’s a little bit of coordinated cynicism here because Gaeta (the one in uniform – her girlfriend, Snell, is the one in the leather jacket) won a raffle that gave her the opportunity to indulge in the Navy’s traditional first off-the-ship kiss, which following the DADT-repeal couldn’t take any form other than the above – but whatever, it’s a sweet image that neatly seals one of the nice things to happen in politics this year.

This was also the year that the ostensibly lady-friendly The Twilight Saga: New Moon came out.

So I mean this would suggest that at present ladies are mostly in films to stand around and look pretty without saying words, which isn’t great. Probably a little more damning is the fact that the percentage is unchanged since 2008. Not that 2008 was a particularly bad year for female representation on film, but it would’ve been nice to at least see some progress towards equal stats.

The study goes on to dissect the way men and women were depicted physically on screen, observing the women were far more likely to be seen wearing “sexy clothing… such as swimwear or unbuttoned shirts” (by a ratio of 25,8% to 4,7%), to “expose skin” (23% versus 7,4 % ), and “to be described by another character as attractive” (10,9 percent versus 2,5 percent).

The study does, however, find that women overtook men in one capacity: ticket sales. More than 50% of the movie tickets sold in 2009 were sold to women, which is maybe a little worrying in so far as it suggests that female moviegoers are complicit in reinforcing a pretty sexist depiction of ladies by a pretty sexist industry (behind the camera, only 3,6% of the directors and 13,5% of the writers were female).

On the other hand, his fiancee, Irina Shayk, could probably turn a gay man straight. According to him, she hasn’t yet reacted to the situation. I’m not surprised, seeing that she is about to marry the most popular football star on earth. She’s probably used to women throwing more than just photos at him. Oh, and she just posed for a new coffee table book, called “Culo.”

The book, a collaboration between P Diddy, Interscope chairman, Jimmy Iovine and fashion photographer, Raphael Mazzucco, features a collection of 248 photographs to celebrate women’s arses. Fantastic.

The £250,000-a-week former Manchester United star has been with Irina, 25, since April last year. The pair are due to marry in July on an island near his native Madeira after he plays for Portugal at Euro 2012.

According to a source, he’s rather “red faced” about the incident. Ja, I bet he was, it’s hard to navigate a mouse when your right hand is busy and you’re not ambidextrous.

I’m sure his phone has been ringing off the hook, with people calling to see if he’s okay since the incident.

1) We know where you were born. But can you just tell us again please?

Benoni, of course!

2) Nicely. Were you neighbours with Charlize?

I’m not sure where she lived but I’m sure we would all like to know!

3) Groot tyd! What language do you speak at home?

English.

4) What other languages do you know?

After a glass or two of wine I become fluent in Afrikaans.

5) You were one of the most popular 2oceansVibe Weather Girls, which was obviously a massive accolade for you. Did you ever manage to top that?

I don’t think I will ever be able to top that. I tried for a while after I did it, but soon gave up – realising that once you reach the top there’s nowhere else to go.

6) You recently appeared in the US edition of Sports Illustrated – a rarity for a South African model. Did they admit to you that it was a direct result of your success as a 2oceansVibe Weather Girl?

They never admitted it, but a few people from the magazine have asked, “How’s the weather down in Cape Town?”, and I’m assuming they are just kidding because they saw the video! There is no other reason i can think of…

7) Are you studying anything, or just modeling your head off?

Mostly I’m just modeling my head off, but I am studying a communications science degree.

What is communication science?

It’s a media related degree, which would enable me to write for media, or work in organizations as their public relations or marketing (the options are quite vast).

9) I bet they are. When you’ve qualified will you be able to work with people like Julius Malema who need help in that area?

While he does need help in that area, I don’t think I would be qualified to assist. I think he would need a person with vast, vast, vast amounts of experience.

10) Why did we have to get our own copy of Sports Illustrated? Why did Greg Carswell not send us one?

I’m not sure… I didn’t get one either.

11) I saw an ad for Tropitone sun cream. Was that you?

Yes, it was me. I hope you bought some sun cream!

12) Nought. Where are you living at the moment?

My home is in Cape Town, but I spend a lot of time in New York city and some time in Europe.

13) Have you been involved in any protests lately?

Sort of… I went down to a protest on Wall Street last week with a friend, who is very involved there. I brought several large sticks and started dancing and screaming, but everyone just looked at me while they took turns to speak their mind instead. I now know what a “peaceful protester” is, and it’s definitely not what we do in SA…

14) Are you going to do a live webcam bikini weather report at our new studios this summer?

Yes, I think that sounds like a plan, provided you arrange with the weather that it can be sunny and warm with little wind. Everyone likes the weather person when they report good weather!

15) Do you think Amanda Knox would make a good model?

I’m not sure about that… But I feel a reality show coming on… Maybe… Or not.

16) Out of all the swimsuit girls for this year’s swimsuit issue, who were your favourites?

My favourites are Jenna Pieterson and Shamone Jardim.

17) Shamone? Isn’t that something Michael Jackson used to say? Don’t answer that.

18) Who was the biggest cow?

I don’t know – I didn’t try milk any of them… Maybe I can try that next year and let you know who has the biggest yield.

19) That would be appreciated. And if you could be a blogger, who would you be?

I count about seven fat jokes disguised as encouragement there. Bear in mind that this is the same American Apparel that last year refused to release plus-sized clothing because chunky folks were “not our demographic.”

So Upton (of Dallas, Texas, who talks about it at a little more length on her Tumblr site) uploaded images of herself sitting on the kitchen floor pouring chocolate syrup on her face or trying to fit a whole fried chicken in her mouth, with the caption, “I’m a size 12. I just can’t stop eating.”

And the internet, being the internet, upvoted it. For whatever reason, in spite of Upton categorically stating that she wouldn’t want to model for the company, she won their rinky-dink online competition.

Which makes it EXTRA classy that American Apparel yesterday let Upton know that, in spite of getting all the votes, she didn’t actually “win.” AA decided to “award the prizes to other contestants that we feel truly exemplify the idea of beauty inside and out,” women they “will be proud to have representing our company.”

Which makes sense! I mean, it’s not like their executive director Dov Charney has been sued a bunch of times for sexual assault, or anything.

Sometimes it seems the rarest thing in Hollywood is a new idea. No-one will have missed the upward trend in film sequels following sequels, rebooted TV classics, and perhaps worse: re-makes of the classic films we enjoyed as kids. At last count, there are at least twelve re-make/reboot projects slated to hit your TV or cinema screen in the next two years alone. Who can keep track?

Welcome to Re-make Mondays, a weekly feature that takes a look at a remake/reboot currently being waved at audiences. I’ll feature the remake, and also what footage or content I can from the original, and then leave the helpless victim for you all to tear apart or cuddle up to in the comments. So, let’s get started:

It’s not just feature films that are receiving the re-make treatment these days, but also classic TV series. This week we take a look at the latest outing for crime-busting trio (or should that be ‘busty’?), Charlie’s Angels.

The show first debuted on American screens in 1976, and made instant stars of the first set of angels.  Kate Jackson; Farrah Fawcett-Majors; Jaclyn Smith; Shelly Hack and Cheryl Ladd all donned the knee high boots in the series’ five year run (only Jaclyn Smith stuck to her role as Kelly for the whole series), aided in their adventures by Charlie’s (voiced by Robert Wagner) liaison Bosley, played by David Doyle.

In terms of stardom, let’s put it into Destiny’s Child speak: Farrah Fawcett was by far the Beyoncé of the group, her stardom soon outstripping the rest, even though she missed the second season altogether, followed by Jaclyn Smith (Kelly Rowland) and finally Kate Jackson (the Michelle Williams of the trio). Cheryl Ladd also deserves honorable mention here.

Here’s the opening to the first episode of Season 1 of the original series (boom chick-a wow wow):

Few could forget the Angel’s return to the big screen in the 2000 McG feature film, starring Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz- and a the much more forgettable 2003 sequel. This year, ABC studios in the States has ordered 13 episodes of a re-booted Charlie’s Angels, starring relative unknowns Annie Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Ramón Rodríguez as John Bosley, the Angels’ liaison to the mysterious Charlie. As such, the producers are hoping to capitalise on the success of other remade TV shows, such as Hawaii-50, and the re-booted Angels are set to hit American screens in September this year.

My verdict: It’s difficult to tell which way this reboot will go before at least a few episodes have aired. From the trailer, it appears to have all the attributes of T&A television (rhymes with ‘hits and grass‘) intact, a genre the original series perfected, and hopefully the addition of Smallville scribes Miles Millar and Alfred Gough will elevate the plot beyond getting the Angels into the least amount of clothing possible as fast as the storyline allows, because of course, we’re all going to be watching for the plot (right?).

Hawaii-50 has been an unprecedented success for network CBS the last two years, due mainly to the great chemistry of on-screen partners Alex O’ Loughlin and Scott Caan. I suspect the key to these new Angels’ reaching the dizzy heights in the ratings will be finding similar chemistry between the buxsome threesome, before viewers lose interest.

I’m not sure I like this dystopian vision of the future, guys. I’m reasonably sure that it’s not healthy to be sweating ‘tiny golden droplets.’

My favourite part was when Miss Hawaii called it “creationatism.”

Although, interestingly, Miss USA winner Alyssa Campanella from California, actually does say she believes in evolution. So there’s that.

I mean, I’m not totally sold on the Continuum dudes saying the N12 ‘represents the beginning of what is possible for the near future,’ but maybe that’s because I don’t wear bikinis.

When talking about how they actually go about making the lego bikinis:

Reynolds, 79, has been in the game for more than 50 years and has managed to amass more than 3 500 famous film artefacts during her time.

Unfortunately the recession came knocking at her closet and because of a difficult “economic situation” she has decided to auction off the majority of her wares to the highest bidders in a few months.

Of course Reynolds is quite emotional about it all and has expressed her sorrow at having to split up the vast and historic collection.

It appears that numerous attempts to showcase the collection in its entirety have also fallen through and only aided Reynolds’ decision:

To keep them stored another 50 years didn’t make sense. I hope in the end they all find happy homes, that they will be shown, and that they might even land in museums.

The “Subway Dress” was designed by Travilla and some say it’s the jewel of the collection but you could also pick up Judy Garland’s costume from The Wizard of Oz, Audrey Hepburn’s Ascot dress from My Fair Lady and Barbara Streisand’s gold sleeveless gown from Hello, Dolly.

It’s thought that the iconic “Subway Dress” could fetch up to $2 million at auction and punters should make their way over to the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills for a peek in the coming weeks.

I mean, obviously there’s some weirdness here – you’re using sexy Apple technology to read soft porn magazines, and even if you’re reading them ‘for the articles’, this doesn’t gell too well with Steve Jobs’ ‘freedom from pornography’ spiel when denying other risque apps. That said, back in ’72 Playboy seriously did motivate some pretty great journalism, and it’d be nice to have access to that again.

Naked News, which began in Canada, is looking for more news anchors to join its subscription-based South African team, following the casting of their first anchor, Johannesburg-based Amy-Leigh Murphy. They’re currently only casting for ladies (let’s be clear about who the target audience is here), but with room for a male cast that looks like it’s going to get popular. Naked News reports 1,000 subscribers so far – no reports on how that’s changed after their pilot broadcast on the 7th of May.

They look like a nice bunch of ladies.

Fiona Walker, née Butler, Elliot’s then-girlfriend, is now 52 years old, doesn’t like tennis much, and works as a freelance illustrator. I think I might’ve been happier when I had no idea who she was, but it’s still pretty neat. Walker claimed ownership of the cheeks at Birmingham’s Barber Institute of Fine Arts, where the photo will be on display for some weeks.

There was some concern after the initial Warner Bros. announcement that Hathaway would only be playing the part of Selina Kyle – Catwoman’s alter-ego without the whole leather thing.  This has been laid to rest by Hathaway’s recent Oprah interview, in which she refers to herself only as “Catwoman” and talks about how excited she is for the part.

She’s just been revealed as the cover model for Sports Illustrated’s 2011 swimsuit issue, but Irina Shayk is hardly a household name — at least, not outside her native land of Russia.
But that’s surely destined to change with the coveted SI cover, one of the most high-profile assignments in the modeling world. Here are five more things to know about the 25-year-old shapely swimsuit siren:

1. She’s Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend
Shayk has been dating the Portuguese star of famed Spanish soccer club Real Madrid since 2010, and they make quite the power couple. But now Irina has one-upped her boyfriend. Widely considered the world’s best soccer player, Ronaldo has yet to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.

2. She hails from a small town near Chelyabinsk, Russia
She was “discovered” in 2004 while on a three-day train ride from Chelyabinsk to Moscow. Since then, Shayk has gone on to grace numerous magazine covers and been featured in ad campaigns for brands like Intimissimi, Lacoste and Guess. This is her fifth appearance in SI’s swimsuit edition.

3. She called her mom and sister in Russia first after getting the SI cover
“They didn’t sleep!” she tells PEOPLE of her relatives, who had stayed up into the wee hours, due to the time difference. Shayk adds that her mom and sister are her biggest fans, and they “always think I’m the best.”

4. She wasn’t expecting to get the swimsuit cover
“It was a total surprise,” she says. The announcement was made on CBS’s “The Late Show,” with Shayk and nine other models listening backstage. Shayk says the other girls weren’t jealous. “We’re like a big family, and we work together all the time and we know each other,” she says. “Everyone is very friendly and happy.”

5. She doesn’t diet
Instead, she works out with a personal trainer to stay healthy and happy. “I love to eat everything,” she says. “I think I love food too much to not eat.”

Now, it’s entirely possible that Ditko just happened to draw gorgeous women and that Emma Stone is, by happy coincidence, gorgeous herself – or it could suggest that whoever’s directing this thing is going for a particular aesthetic related to the early comics. This idea of sticking to a comic book’s visual aesthetic in film is something we saw in Sin City and 300, but less so in more conventional spandex-and-superpowers flicks – so I’m curious to see where they go with this.

Or else I’m curious to see what Emma Stone is up to. Maybe she’s free for coffee, or a movie, or maybe we could just sit around and talk. I’m happy either way.

The who’s who, including e-TV’s Nicky Greenwall, TKZ’s Kabelo, Roxy Louw, Top Billing’s Janez Vermeiren, Tracey McGregor and Dirty Skirts lead singer Jeremy de Tolly, were amongst those who took to the stands to watch the energy-filled show, and marvel at entertainers 1stProject – a group of 4 scantily clad hotties who opened and closed the evening with a drumming act which left guests cheering and requesting more.

Now, I know, this is hard for you; you may beg to differ. Maybe you’d even like to suggest that Zack Snyder and his little featurettes are perfectly respectable films, and that I should move with the times– or maybe you should shut up. Daddy’s talking.

Let me break this down for you:

1) The title. It’s awesome. Cowboys and Aliens sounds like some bullshit Pixar deal that’s going to come with 3D glasses, except BOOM it’s about Daniel Craig blowing aliens up while wearing a cowboy hat. This movie is going to make the words ‘Cowboy’ and ‘Alien’ cool again, after both got crapped on by ‘Brokeback Mountain’ and ‘Aliens,’ respectively.

2) Harrison Ford gets to be badass again. He won our hearts in Blade Runner and kept us warm in Star Wars; he was Indiana goddamned Jones. Then he left us for Meg Ryan in Six Days Seven Nights and I’ll be damned if I was going to sit and watch him castrate the rest of his career. This movie will let us beat the youth with a tire iron and explain why you don’t mess with Han Solo.

3) Jon Favreau gets to stretch his director’s legs in this flick, after his last two independent films, which you may have heard of – Iron Man and Iron Man II?

4) Olivie Wilde. She has a naked fireside scene. So help me god if I have to justify why this is good to you, I will cut you.

It’s out next year, and it is going to be awesome.

The actresses apparently being considered are: Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Keira Knightley, all of whom should be known to you because they’ve been in a ton of films and are crazy attractive, and Naomi Watts & Blake Lively, known for King Kong and Gossip Girl respectively. As ever, Nolan is being pretty secretive about the film’s script, but apparently one lady is wanted to play another superfluous love interest, while the other is intended as a villain – whether this means Catwoman or some more obscure character remains to be seen.

God, I’m ashamed of that title.

Hidden somewhere between the not-yet-sticky pages of 200,000 issues of this Friday’s edition of Playboy are 10 ‘Golden Tickets’ to the annual Midsummer Night’s Dream Party at the Playboy Mansion, in a move inspired by Willy Wonka. This marks the first time that the Playboy Mansion has made itself open to the public, being heretofore far too classy to let the common man swing by. Which works out, I guess, given that Playboy is hemorrhaging money, to the extent that Hefner’s been advised to start selling off his ‘art’ collection, and make an attempt at selling the mansion itself – oh god, where will the peacocks stay now?

It should be a good party, though! On top of being able to call their parents from the Playboy Mansion, winners get accommodation at the Petit Ermitage Hotel and dinner at the  Simon L.A, which I’m told is a pretty nice place.

This marks the first time anybody has had a legitimate reason to pay money for Playboy since the invention of the internet.

Just as I was about to mentally check out for the weekend, I was handed the story that I’ve waited my whole life to write.

While I was originally stoked to find out that Wonder Woman was making a long awaited (by me at least) return to the silver screen and then gutted to learn that the project had been downgraded to a Wonder Woman television series, my opinion of the project has once again been swung on account of the fact that South African model, Tanit Phoenix is in serious talks to get the leading role as the new Wonder Woman.

What’s Playing has reported that a source has alluded to them that our Tanit is already on the shortlist for the production, which is being headed up by Ally Mcbeal’s David E. Kelly.

My contact passes on a rumor that the model cum actress has actually already spoken to key members of the production team and expressed interest… and they’re (that includes some suits at Warner Bros, whom she did The Thirst with) apparently big fans, so her name will undoubtedly be amongst the four or five young actresses that are ultimately shortlisted for the role of the Amazonian princess. “She will definitely get to screen test”, says an insider.

Another actress rumoured to be shortlisted is Eliza Dushku. I want you to go into the weekend safe in the knowledge that the worst case scenario here is that Tanit Phoenix doesn’t get onto the new Wonder Woman show and we get to see Eliza Dushku in the Wonder Woman outfit. Worst case.

People seem to have a mild case of amnesia, over there at the Parents Television Council – was Britney Spears’ smash hit video Hit Me Baby One More Time not identical to this very shoot? What with the girls showing a bit too much under their school uniforms? Shame – they really are very bored.

Naturally, the editor of GQ Magazine released a statement, punishing them: “The Parents Television Council must not be watching much TV these days and should learn to divide reality from fantasy,” says Jim Nelson, editor-in-chief of GQ. “As often happens in Hollywood, these ‘kids’ are in their twenties. Cory Montieth’s almost 30! I think they’re old enough to do what they want.”

Two French students, calling themselves the ‘Niqabitches,’ have posted a video of themselves strolling through Paris wearing the niqab with hot pants and high heels, in protest of France’s recent burka ban. They seem like very nice young ladies.

The anonymous duo – one of whom is a Muslim – have described the protest as follows;

“To put a simple burka on would have been too simple. So we asked ourselves: ‘how would the authorities react when faced with women wearing a burka and mini-shorts?
We were not looking to attack or degrade the image of Muslim fundamentalists – each to their own – but rather to question politicians who voted for this law that we consider clearly unconstitutional.”

The Hef “Hugh” Hefner, as we like to call him, has lured an equity company to bed, and together they plan on buying out all of Playboy Enterprises remaining company shares in a bid to make things a little more private.

Apparently he’s not interested in selling his shares, or merging with other shareholders. But then, why would he? He has a mansion and a harem of blond c-cups to merge with on a daily basis.

It [Playboy Enterprises] said Hefner wanted to retain full control of Playboy out of concern for the brand, the editorial direction of the magazine and “(Playboy’s) legacy.”

He’s concerned with the editorial direction? Sheesh, Hef, you’ve gotten yourself into a bit of trouble if you hired people who couldn’t figure our the editorial direction of Playboy. Can you imagine the board room, Hef standing on the table in his robe, looking exasperated, kicking whiskey tumblers around?

He’d probably say something like, “Look, it’s real simple. You take Rolling Stone, right, and you put a lot of naked people in the middle, okay?”

After gathering up some of the country’s finest female specimens to represent the various soccer super teams visiting our country, a model shoot was staged at Café Caprice, choreographed by Brandnew Marketing in order to create a sexy 2010/11 desktop calendar.

The shoot was held in the upstairs section of the venue, in conjunction with a party throughout the rest of the café, which drew a crowd of epic proportion.

I popped in and noticed one of the angels was misbehaving. She agreed that a hiding was in order.

I know it looks like I’m overdoing it, but she was being naughty. Not that she seemed to mind..

She’s already got a Lion of her own in the form of England rugby star Danny Cipriani, but Kelly Brook’s experience with the real thing is probably a little limited. However, she seemingly took to juggling three lions at once with relative ease in a photoshoot for men’s magazine FHM.

Miss Brook, 30, took part in the shoot ahead of the World Cup, which kicks off this weekend. She was keen to show her support for the England team – with the iconic Three Lions a nod to the team, who are currently in training for the tournament in South Africa.

Kelly is also set to pose for Playboy later this year, after signing a half-a-million dollar deal. Her agent Jonathan Shalit told the Mail Online that Kelly was delighted to have been chosen. He said: ‘She’s absolutely thrilled. It’s such a great honour for her, especially when you think about the icons that have graced the cover of the magazine over the years.’

It was around that time that we first noticed young Madeleine, who is infinitely hotter than Victoria, and not shy to throw it around either. We wrote a story in early 2009, stating that perhaps the fitness trainer had gone for the wrong sister. After all, with Madeleine you do get the very rare “trifecta” : wealth, status and looks.

Sometime after that, Princess Madeleine became engaged to one Jonas Bergstrom. They featured in Hello Magazine together from time to time. He was lucky to have a “strom” in his surname, as Hello Magazine don’t often publish articles without a “von” or a “strom” in the surname.

Princess Madeleine and lawyer Jonas Bergstrom have, by mutual agreement, decided to end their relationship.” With these words the Swedish Royal Palace confirmed what the press had been saying for weeks – it is all over for Queen Silvia’s younger daughter and her partner of eight years.

First signs of trouble came with the news the couple had postponed their wedding, which was expected to take place at the end of 2010.

Nevertheless, Queen Silvia silenced rumours of a relationship crisis, saying: “Princess Madeleine and Jonas Bergstrom will not marry this year, but all is well.”

The royal matriarch indicated that the cause of the postponement was the proximity of Crown Princess Victoria’s nuptials and denied that the couple were having problems.

However, this did nothing to silence rumours that Jonas had been unfaithful with a Norwegian student on a skiing trip – stories that apparently caused great discomfort to King Carl Gustaf. According to Swedish newspaper Expressen, the sovereign would have asked for a personal meeting with the 31-year-old to clarify what happened.

Another paper Aftonbladet reports that Madeleine was aware of the affair, and was worried about when it would come to light. At the 27-year-old royal’s suggestion the couple were apparently attending therapy sessions in an attempt to save their romance.

Insiders are saying that to get over the break up Madeleine will throw herself into her work for her mother’s World Childhood Foundation. She is currently in New York undertaking duties for the charity, and has prolonged her stay there until May.

Royal watchers are lamenting the end of the couple’s fairytale romance. It was love at first sight for the pair when they were introduced by mutual friends in the autumn of 2002. Jonas wasted no time inviting the blonde royal for dinner in the upmarket Ostermalm district of Stockholm. A year later they moved in together.

It’s back, my friends. Cape Town’s most anticipated rugby social weekend, the Cape Town Tens tournament is gonna kick it just as hard, but bigger, than last year. Do you remember people last year talking about that weekend they had which was more fun they had ever had in their lives? The one with all the hot chicks? And guys with their shirts off? The one that you missed? Ja – that one. That was the Cape Town Tens.

It’s at Hamiltons Rugby Club in Green Point, which, it just so happens, is right next door to the Cape Town World Cup Stadium!

And you know what’s happening the same weekend at the stadium? Oh nothing, just STORMERS vs BOLAND in a Super 14 warm up! The FIRST time rugby will be played at the stadium!

Castle Cape Town Tens tickets go on sale!

Tickets for the 2010 Castle Cape Town Tens at Hamilton RFC, and the historic Cape Town Rugby Festival at the Cape Town Stadium, are now available for purchase at Computicket.

Full weekend passes are available for just R120 which will give spectators access to all the CT Tens action at Hamilton’s throughout the weekend of February 5-7, as well as the two rugby matches at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday – the SA Legends v International Legends 10-a-side exhibition game and the Stormers v Boland XV Super 14 warm-up fixture; the first time rugby will be played at the brand-new stadium.

The full weekend pass will also allow those lucky spectators to attend Saturday evening’s massive Beer Festival at Hamilton’s – which will include performances from top UK cover band, The Lightyears (who rocked the tournament last year), and a host of well-known South African bands.

Fashionistas and most-males alike may recall the news that Megan Fox was taking over the Armani underwear gig that Victoria Beckham was enjoying for quite some time.

The sultry and sexy actress Megan Fox, 23, is stripping down to her underwear in the name of fashion.

The ‘Transformers’ star has signed on to be the new face and body of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans campaigns, “The Insider” confirms. The actress was photographed this past July alongside Armani at the Giorgio Armani Privé show.

Fox’s Armani ads will begin running in worldwide in January. The actress succeeds Victoria Beckham, who stripped down for an Armani underwear campaign this past year.

Soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo has also signed on to pose for the men’s Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans campaigns, though he will not be appearing alongside Fox in any of the ads.

Behold, the ULTIMATE Christmas gift..

Due to the overwhelming amount of awesome videos on 2oceansvibe, you can’t be expected to watch it all – and let’s face it, not everyone has super fast internet. So here it is, people. You asked for it, and now you’ve got it. It’s the 2009 2oceansvibe DVD.

Not surprisingly, it’s entitled “Touch Yourself” and contains SO MUCH stuff I honestly don’t know where to begin. What’s more, they’re all presented in their original resolution, so you’re getting improved picture quality too!

Just to get you started, it’s basically got the ENTIRE 2oceansvibe Weathergirls Show collection (shame – poor you), with models including The Cowley Sisters, Tracy McGregor, Lyndall Jarvis, Genevieve Morton and tons more beautiful angels. And that’s not excluding the ones with Helen Zille and Goldfish and the other one with Bob Skinstad stripping down to his jocks! Some classic moments, I must admit!

But that’s not all..

Howz that DVD box? Pretty cool, hey? Can you imagine owning that and holding it close to your body? No need – just pop it in the DVD player and, when you watch it, it will feel like I am right there, holding you. Naked.

It’s also got the ENTIRE Pauly Shore series with Dirty Skirts soundtrack that we shot in Hollywood early on in the year – which includes Pauly Shore dry humping Zinzi on a physio’s table. Let alone live footage of Pauly making hotel booty calls and following through with the angels actually arriving at the door within minutes! Those who have watched the whole thing will confirm that it is truly hilarious! And I didn’t even mention the hidden-camera footage of Pauly in the drug store..

OBVIOUSLY it’s got the IDOLS Randall Abraham “Rocky” video which won the award for Best Blog Post at the 2009 SA Blog Awards. That same video has been watched online over 150,000 times so far. I simply couldn’t leave it out!

It’s got the little debate I had with Springbok Captain, John Smit, as well as the 2oceansvibe Top Billing feature which included Goldfish, as well as Ard Matthews from Just Jinjer on the show.

So it’s a bit of a joke when it comes to the volume of stuff you’re getting on the DVD. There’s even a Bonus footage section which includes the now famous Cape Town Short Cuts video, as well as behind the scenes never-seen-before footage of The TBG, Seth, The Dude, G-Man and the rest of the gang. I would tell you more, but don’t want to spoil it..

I had someone the other day tell me that they would pay R250 just for copies of all the weather girls. Well, Thomas, there will be no need! Because you can get EVERYTHING I have just mentioned AND MORE for just R100. That’s what a lot of people give car guards these days.

Tonight on CBS, the highly-anticipated Victoria Secret Fashion Show will show off some eye candy for male viewers and a spectacular $3 million Fantasy Bra worn by Marisa Miller.

The bejeweled bra has over 150 carats of diamonds including 2,300 diamonds and a 16-carat heart-shaped diamond pendant. If you’re thinking that you’d like to buy the $3 million bra with your holiday bonus check, it’s not likely you’ll be able to. No one has ever purchased the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra, the company said. Past bras—including the 2006 Hearts on Fire Diamond Fantasy Bra, worth $7 million—have all been dismantled.

Filmed in New York City in November, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is hosted by VS model Heidi Klum, who has indicated to the press that she isn’t in lingerie shape post baby. Many would beg to differ.
