2oceans Vibe

It’s quite important that you watch this video, as it will no doubt appear in text books in years to come. It basically has South Africa’s most famous woman, Candice Swanepoel and another 2oceansvibe favourite, Adriana Lima, jumping around and hosing themselves in bikinis next to the ocean. I just love the way models always seem to have a good time. “Yup, you guessed it – being beautiful is awesome. And when you know you’re good looking, a lot of common stress is removed and you invariably have a good time.” – Seth Rotherham, 2011 (mere minutes after being crowned GQ’s Best Dressed Man).

Both of the girls speak to camera quite a bit in these vids – which is rare – they usually just let their bums do the talking. Needless to say, any supermodel aficionado will relish in this opportunity to hear the girls’ respective dialects. It has been noted that Candice still definitely retains most of her South African accent. Which she would do, given that she carries the weight of a nation on her shoulders.

Marie Claire‘s Body Issue is on sale. Check out the cover. 2oceansVibe favourite and St Anne’s Old Girl, Candice Swanepoel is absolutely killing it.

The issue, which is already on sale, has come in for some stick from a number of “social commentators”, who have claimed that the use of Candice Swanepoel as the cover girl for an issue dedicated to the love of yourself and your body undermined the central message of the mag.

Not so. Candice is one healthy lass, and we’re quite alright with that, thank you.
