Oh, what sweet joys summer brings. Once again it’s that time of year when Café Caprice brings us their Annual Industry Volleyball Tournament. What could make a Saturday better than chilling on Camps Bay beach, in the sun watching Cape Town and Brazil’s beautiful people shaking it up in a game of volleyball?

The tournament is held this Saturday, 3 March 2012 on Camps Bay Beach from 11h00 to 17h00. A breathless day is forecast and will set the stage for one of the city’s most fun and eye-candy filled events this year, with teams battling it out for the 2012 trophy, Sunglass Hut sponsored sunnies, Havaianas vouchers and Havana Club beach kits.

There will be lovely ladies providing sunscreen, so that we stay bronzed and don’t burn,and our very own Rich Hardiman will be broadcasting live from the event and playing sweet tunes to add to the vibe. Red Bull Mocktails, Café Caprice gourmet snacks and Havana Club cabanas and deck chairs will all be available for you to enjoy.

Everyone who’s anyone will be there, and this is surely not a day to miss, so make sure you’re on the strip, too! It’s all happening in Camps bay, folks – and if you missed the action from Sunday night (we’ve just surfaced) you’ll be interested to know that Danny K’s ex (Lee-Ann Liebenberg) drank R60,000 worth of bubbly on Sunday night at 2oceansvibe’s spiritual home, Cafe Caprice in Camps Bay – shortly before accusing a 19-year-old child of feeling her up. That’s when her current boyfriend, ex-GQ Best Dressed Man Of The Year and my predecessor, Nicky Van Der Walt, beat the child up. Follow the link for more.
