“Men At Work” Member Found Dead In Melbourne

If you don’t know who Men at Work are, I suggest you go and sit in the corner and slap yourself around a bit. They were around in the 80′s and produced some great hits like “Who can it be now?”, “Overkill” and the legendary “Down Under”. One of their members, Greg Ham, has just been found dead in Melbourne.

Damon Albarn Retires Gorillaz, Hints At Disagreements Within Band

In an interview over the weekend, Damon Albarn has said it is “unlikely” that there will be any more new material from Gorillaz. He has not given a specific reason, but implied that disagreements between him and his Gorillaz collaborator, artist Jamie Hewlett, could be at the core.

Take it with a pinch of salt, but over the weekend this pretty convincing Lollapalooza internal memo hit the internet. I mean blurry photographs of lineup lists aren’t set in stone, but it looks pretty legit – and includes headline acts by The Black Keys, Black Sabbath, and The Shins. Smashing Pumpkins To Release “Album Within An Album” In June [VIDEO]

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has spent the last three years slaving away at a massively insane internet-only, 44-song concept record, called Teargarden By Kaleidyscope. That album now includes an “album within an album” called Oceania, which will be released via traditional record-label channels, with EMI on June 19. Check out the epic title track below.

This morning we told you about Deadmau5 taking on Madonna via Twitter. He mistook her asking the crowd at a recent concert if “they’ve seen Molly?” for disguised drug use promotion. It turns out she was actually referring to one of her new singles, “Have you seen Molly”, and took to Twitter to correct the electro artist. She even used a pic! Awkward.

Deadmau5 Calls Madonna A “Fucking Idiot” For Talking About Drugs

Toronto’s Deadmau5 has been blasting Madonna on his Facebook page for asking folks at the Miami Ultra Music Festival if they’ve seen “molly,” which is young-person speak for MDMA. Deadmau5 moved from slating Madonna’s embarrassing use of drug slang to a spiel about equating electro with drug use – with a couple of tasteful expletives thrown in.
