OK Go’s Insane Chevy Music Vid [VIDEO]

Yesterday, OK Go released their new music video for Needing/Getting, which doubled as a Super Bowl ad for the Chevy Sonic. The band drives a Chevy fitted with retractable arms down a 3km stretch of desert lined with 1 000 instruments to perform a version of “Needing/Getting” that took four months to prep and four days to shoot.

An 83-year-old woman has successfully had her lower jaw replaced with a 3D-printed model by scientists at Belgium’s University of Hasselt. This is the first such implant in the world, and was a much faster process than traditional artificial implants – we’re taking hours instead of days.

It is weird to think that there are still people in this world who forget to turn their cell phones off during concerts. This happened during a recent performance by Slovakian violist Lukas Kmit, when a concertgoer’s Nokia ringtone suddenly interrupted the show. Smurf Town In Spain Votes To Stay Blue

A small city in southern Spain, Juzcar, was used as the film location for the The Smurfs film, and painted blue to fit the theme. Once shooting had wrapped up, Sony Pictures offered to repaint the place – except residents voted yesterday to keep the place Smurf-coloured.
