Iconic amplifier company Marshall has expanded into selling people drums and headphones over the past couple of years – and now they’ve announced a mini-fridge that looks like an amp on the outside, but has an inside made to hold dozens of cold beverages. Shut up and take my money.

Toronto’s Deadmau5 has been blasting Madonna on his Facebook page for asking folks at the Miami Ultra Music Festival if they’ve seen “molly,” which is young-person speak for MDMA. Deadmau5 moved from slating Madonna’s embarrassing use of drug slang to a spiel about equating electro with drug use – with a couple of tasteful expletives thrown in.

I’m sure at some point in your life you’ve heard “The Greatest Song In The World Tribute” by Tenacious D. It’s been years since we’ve heard from Jack Black and Kyle Gass, but they’re back with their third album, “Rize of the Fenix.” They’ve also got a funny as hell trailer video to launch it, featuring Val Kilmer, Josh Groban, and Dave Grohl.

Inevitably, at some point during reality TV talent show auditions, a heavyset and/or ugly contestant will walk onto stage and be greeted with ridicule and laughter. But then said contestant opens his/her mouth, and everyone – including Simon Cowell – starts to cheer and cry hysterically. Step inside for that magical moment.

Remember when we all freaked out over that video of five people playing and singing on one guitar? The band’s name is Walk off the Earth, and they’ve just uploaded a new video onto YouTube. This time they cover the song, “Little boxes” from the TV show “Weeds”. Expect loads of cardboard box awesomeness – after the jump!

You might have caught the article in the Weekend Argus about these girls from Hout Bay – The Soapgirls - bouncing around in a music video called ‘Hurricane’ – so I thought I would get it for you. They’ve put a clever little song together, taking elements from songs like Katy Perry’s Firework, Britney’s Baby, One More Time (I enjoyed the the ‘baby-baby’ vibe) and Christina’s Genie In A Bottle (crawling along the sand). Click to check it out:

Bruce Springsteen is a musical legend. There’s no denying it – he’s got the stats to prove it. But what is he doing at a technology conference? Well, in a time of change, when music is changing – what advice can the digital generation take from rock and roll?

Grunge rock fans around the world have wet themselves at the news of eBay seller “taddoyal” placing an ad for ex-Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain’s one time tour van. The legendary van comes complete with hand-drawn murals, former registrations and engravings of band member’s names.

English heavy metal band Motörhead has launched a line of bottled alcoholic beverages, because that’s just what you do when you’re a band of a certain age. There’s Motörhead Vodka which, sure, heavy metal, makes sense, and they’ve also released Motörhead Shiraz. Because I guess that’s heavy metal too.
