The SAPS have issued a stern warning against persons taking the law into their own hands. This is following the necklacing of a 32 year-old man in Khayelitsha over the weekend. The man was out on bail, and was suspected of the theft of a cellphone.

Earlier today, News 24 reported that three men “had died after they were set alight with tyres” on Monday night in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. A 2oceansviber on the scene snapped the following photograph with their mobile phone. The three men, who stood accused of stealing a generator, appear to have sustained massive blunt trauma injuries. An attempted smash-and-grab at a Northampton jeweler was prevented when a red coated woman started walloping the six armed gang members with her handbag. The would-be-thieves attempted to escape on their scooters, but fell over. And got hit with a handbag again. I’ve seen this movie before.
