I went for a little walk along Camps Bay beach last Sunday, when the mist was just beginning to get up to it’s tricks.
We took in the reverse view from the rocks at the end. I liked what I saw and noticed that the Atlantic Ocean was playing another classic game of “lake-lake.”
I’ve had the pic on my desktop (after sending it to myself from my iPhone) for a while now and can’t seem to delete it. It was clear I needed closure, by giving it to you.
Be here now
Now I can wipe it. Thank you for letting me share that with you. In doing so, we become closer.
We become one.
Oh, needless to say the blonde cougar/stallion who jogs along the beach, almost floating, was there, cruising up and down with her golden retriever. Headphones on. Smiling. Seemingly in slow-mo.
She gave it “the big stretch,”
as she turned around for another lap of the bay.
Just another day.
Sharing the holiday with the rest of them.
