Look, we all knew it was coming. The end of the world might be the original case of not if, but when. The Apocalypse is here, guys. They even made a movie about it with a typo reading 2012 where it should have said 2011.
Just the other day we told you about animals falling from the sky and washing up on the river shores of Arkansas. That was weird back then. Now thousands more dead birds and fish appeared in New Zealand, Brazil and Sweden of all places. Something is most definitely up here.
The estimated body count so far is:
Four thousand dead blackbirds in Arkansas, USA. Two million dead fish in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, USA . One hundred dead jackdaw birds in Falköping, Sweden. Hundreds dead snapper fish in New Zealand, many of them with their eyes missing.
It’s ugly.
Nobody knows what’s causing this. There’s been some outrageous theories ranging from birds flying into each other to “cold-water stress” but no-one’s really nailed it just yet. Maybe our feathered friends are just sad. I saw a bird looking heavy depressed this morning. If you see a bird today – give it a thumbs up.
As per normal, Twitter was ablaze with all kinds of comment on the issue. Pick of the crop coming from @yoyoha who delivered this gem.
