If you’re big into conspiracy theories about how the United Stated government spends its time covering up the dastardly deeds that it commits, perhaps it’s time for a rethink. It appears that the US government can’t even keep secret their plan to stop their secrets from getting leaked.
According to an 11 page memo leaked to MSNBC the government has created a four-step plan to prevent leaks in the future. It’s clear though that the plan isn’t working.
The plan includes the use of psychiatrists and sociologists to figure out who might be overly inclined to share. It also suggests that all staff report any contact they have with the media.
