Wow, this kid in America is pretty hardcore! And not only because he probably OWNS Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. No, he actually killed his own mother while she was sleeping because she punished him by taking his PlayStation away.
Let’s quickly run through the events leading up to this kid earning a scholarship to Pollsmoor Youth Division:
1. Mom and son have a fight. Mom punishes son by taking his PlayStation away.
2. Son is furious with mom and proceeds to “pace for about three hours trying to decide if he should kill his mother.”
3. After receiving the go-ahead from the voices in his head, he walks up to her room and beats her 20 times with a claw hammer. While hours clocked up on the PlayStation must have certainly equipped him with a strong hand grip, his upper arms can’t be very strong, because this doesn’t actually kill her.
4. He drags his mother downstairs and tries to cremate her in the kitchen. This doesn’t work.
5. He then beats her with a chair leg until the job is done.
6. He drags her body outside and hides it under debris in an alley behind the house.
Now, what would you think someone like this would have said when the police finally caught him? If you guessed “I just leveled up!”, you’d be mistaken. No, try this on for size: “If I could, I would not do it again. I really miss my mom…She was the only person who cared for me.”
I’m sure he’ll find someone who’ll “care” for him in one way or another where he’ll be going. Although “taking care of” and “caring for” can describe two very different intentions.
