In a dramatic turnaround, Pope Benedict XVI said sorry for all the years that the Catholic Church has been blaming the death of Jesus on the Jews.

Pope B-16 has made quite the about turn on the issue, considering that the Catholics have pretty much blamed the Jews for Jesus’ crucifixion for the last 2000 years.

Excerpts from the book, “Jesus of Nazareth,” were released yesterday. In the book Pope B uses biblical and theological analysis to explain why the Jews didn’t do it.

This thorny issue has caused quite some concern for Jews over the years, including some slight Spanish inquisition and light genocide.

But luckily it’s all been cleared up now.
