The opening of Burberry’s flagship Beijing store was marked by a holographic runway show. Holographic models walked through the virtual images of one another, flickering up and down the catwalk, and disappearing in pyrotechnic bursts. Also, Edie Campbell turned into Jourdan Dunn mid-stride.

I love that Burberry do take risks in that sense, and it was a risk because there was every chance that it was all about to go tits up backstage! A lot of shows can be very safe creatively so it’s nice to do some that are completely unusual.
