So the royal guest list has been announced and I am pleased to report that South African born pilot, Charlie Strachan, has been invited. Charlie, who works for Kenya-based Tropic Air, befriended the prince two years ago, when William went for a hike in Kenya.

His brother Kelvin said:

He’s already in London, but I have the invitation here.

Charlie got to know William when William was a guest of the Craig family, who own Rutundu Bush Camp, on the slopes of Mount Kenya. William had visited the camp on a few occasions and last October proposed to Kate in one of the camp’s log cabins.

During a previous visit William befriended Strachan, who worked for Tropic Air, a for-hire airline in Kenya that specialised in flights over the northern parts of the country.

The invitation is for one and apparently Charlie is very excited.
